We are heading out for a family vacation with friends to the OBX (Outer Banks, NC). We use to go on lots of road trips as a kid and I always loved the grocery trip right before we left because my parents would let us buy junk that we normally didn’t get. My sister and I would be loaded down in the back seat with candy, chips, and Mad Libs – remember those?!
On a Gluten Free diet my road trip foods have changed some.
Here are my Gluten Free Road Trip Foods
– Chex Rice Cereal
– Popcorn, IN Popcorn
– Lay’s Stax
– Fruity Pebbles Treats
– Pumpkin Chip Muffins (I made these this morning!)
So, what are your favorite Gluten Free Road Trip Foods? What can’t you live without?
Chef Froggie says
I always make sure I have plenty of snacks that are safe, and often individually packaged is really helpful… or home made in zip lock baggies. Enjoy Life Foods’ sunbutter crunch bars, GF cereal, homemade muffins, and others are regularly seen in my bag even if it’s just a trip that lasts a few hours in case I need a snack.

I love love love that popcorn!! I always make sandwiches and pack a yogurt dip with some crunchy veggies.
