Here is my plan for what we will eat this week.
Monday – Hubby’s birthday!!! Sausage and peppers from my Gluten Free Freezer Meal post. This is one of his favorite meals and often I cook it in the skillet if I don’t plan ahead. I’m also making a GF strawberry birthday cake! I’ll let you know how it goes.
Tuesday – Chicken and Veggie stir fry this is a good way for me to get the toddler to eat her veggies!
Wednesday – Pork Loin in the slow cooker
Thursday – Pasta Bake
Friday – Pork Chops
Saturday – Friends coming over so we will grill out!
Sides – veggies, mac-n-cheese, rice

Fun Southern Edicate
In the South if you have people over to eat and you will prepare the meal outdoors we call that a cook-out or grilling out. It is not called a bar-b-que. That is a food group down here! Bar-b-que is slow cooked meat with amazing seasoning and sauces that come with cole slaw, hush puppies and beans. So if you come to the South and say, “Hey, come on over for a bar-b-que!” We expect slow cooked pork shoulder not grilled chicken! Just a little Southern edumacation for you!
