Finding Gluten Free asian food is tricky so any time I can make something at home that is just as good I call it a win! This is a recipe I used to make in my Gluten eating days. I have made some changes to make it Gluten Free. Our kids love this one and we eat it often because it is so easy and fast.
This is a great base recipe that could be changed or adapted to your likes. I use frozen veggies to make my life easy but I’m sure fresh veggies would be wonderful in this dish! I can make this dinner in 25 minutes start to finish. A huge time saver meal!
My recipe is adapted from this recipe.
What You Need:
1/2 lb of ground beef – you could use ground turkey
1 box of GF gravy – I use Pacific
1 GF beef bouillon cube
1/2 tbsp GF Soy Sauce – I use San-J
1/4 tsp garlic powder
1 bag of frozen mixed vegetables 16oz
Salt and pepper
GF rice pasta
How To Make It:
Boil water and cook pasta according to the package. Brown ground meat and drain fat. Add all other ingredients to the beef except the pasta. Stir together, reduce heat to low/medium, cover and cook for at least 8 minutes. If you aren’t in a rush this dish only gets better with time and can simmer for hours. Serve with the rice pasta.
This is a huge winner in our house! I have served this with rice noodles, rice pasta and even over white rice. It has a smooth flavor and comes out great.
Enjoy!
