Amy Fothergill is not only a Cornell University grad, a professional chef, a Gluten Free blogger but a fun person to be around. I first met Amy this past spring at a Gluten Free expo in Chicago. She is so knowledgeable about cooking, working with food allergies and how to make things easy in the kitchen. At that point she was working on a cookbook and I’m so pleased to share with you that it is here!
The Warm Kitchen: Gluten Free Recipes Anyone Can Make and Everyone Will Love is filled with over 150 recipes. Amy also shares a ton of knowledge with her readers. She has pantry stocking tips, common substitutions and how to’s for making bread, cooking GF pasta, making sauces, making good GF pastries and many more!
The cookbook is divided up into Breakfast & Brunch, Soups & Salads, Main Dishes, Grains & Side Dishes, Breads, Pizza, Desserts and Treats. The book is filled with great pictures and easy to follow instructions. Many of the recipes also have “Chef Tips” to help you prepare the dish properly.
I’m going to make her Stroganoff on page 102 for dinner tonight! I have flagged a number of recipes in the book to try later.
I’m so proud of Amy for getting this book together and I hope you will find it a helpful tool for your family!
You can purchase the book on Amazon.
