One key to surviving a Gluten Free lifestyle is to always carry a snack bar or protein bar with you. There have been so many situations where I have been somewhere with nothing to eat but the Gluten Free bar I had in my purse. Social events have often been saved by a snack bar!
I recently lucked out and got a whole box of The Gluten Free Bars to try! I have seen the bars at expos but never had a chance to try them.
It had an assortment of all 4 flavors; peanut butter, chocolate peanut butter, cranberry toasted almond and oatmeal raisin. If you check out the nutritional data you will see the bars are loaded with good protein, calories, carbs and fiber to keep you going! I can also pronounce all the ingredients, always a plus. The Gluten Free Bars are: vegan, non-GMO, soy free, dairy free, kosher and certified Gluten Free!
My personal favorite was the oatmeal raisin, with the chocolate peanut butter being a close second. It is important to note that these are the only Gluten Free bars that my hubby enjoys! I noticed the box was getting empty pretty fast and found out that my gluten-eating hubby was taking them to work. This is a huge compliment to The Gluten Free Bars!
These are great bars to keep me going after a workout or during the day when I don’t have time to stop and eat.
The taste and texture are great! I really enjoy the crunch from the crisped brown rice.
