The GFAF Wellness Event in Charlotte March 29th was a huge success! Over 900 people came to enjoy the awesome vendors and speakers. I had a great time talking to so many people about living Gluten Free. I also ate my way around the room more than once!
There were a number of new brands there that I want to tell you about!
Bumbalooza – Makes rockin’ Gluten Free baking mixes! They carry 8 kinds of mixes that will wow you! I walked away with 3 boxes of the mixes. My favorites are the pink lemonade donuts and the cookies and cream cake mix.
Roots Hummus – Has a huge selection of really good hummus. I tried a few of the flavors and the original was my favorite!
Nick’s Sticks – Is grass feed, Gluten Free, no MSG, no hormones, no antibiotics, beef jerky sticks. Think a slim jim, without all the junk! These are great for a protein boost.
Chia Pod – Makes Chia pudding with very simple, basic ingredients. They had an airstream RV out front of the venue with samples! Hubby and I decided that the banana and blueberry were our favorite flavors!
There were also a ton of my favorites at the event. Here are some of the highlights:
Tito’s Vodka – Gluten Free vodka! They were mixing it with lemonade and basil – it was so refreshing!
Fuel Pizza – One of my favorite pizza joints! I even hit up a local Fuel restaurant on my way out of town to bring a pie home.
Virtuous Living Spices – I love their spice blends! I rarely cook a meal without incorporating their spices. They are coming out with 5 more blends and I can’t wait to try them!
Enjoy Life Foods – They had a ton of samples for us all to try! My 3 favorites are plain Plentils, S’mores Decadence bars and the dark chocolate chips.
Schar – They had a great kid play area set up at the event. It was a huge hit with the kids. I love so many of their products but my favorite are the Honeygrams!
Gluten Free Buyers Guide – If you are wondering what Gluten Free products and resources are good, this is your guide! It has categories for everything Gluten Free! Check out page 46 š
Freedom Foods – Creates rockin’ Gluten Free cereals in a number of flavors. I always stock up when I see them. The cereals taste good, are good for you, and aren’t filled with junk!
The vendors were super generous with their samples! I want to share some of the goodies with you! Enter below to win a box full of Gluten Free goodies.

Love Tito’s vodka! There’s a restaurant down here that does a blueberry lemonade cocktail with Titos and it is crazy good – will have to try making my own with some basil š Great recap, looks like a fun event!
