Gluten Free Chicken sausages to enhance your meals.
If you want to take your sausage game to a new level, check out First Fresh Chicken Sausage. Why chicken? It is a leaner meat, high in protein, rich in Vitamin B6, and loads of amino acids.
First Fresh makes chicken sausage links, croquettes, meatballs and ground meat. We were able to try the Breakfast Sausages, Mild Italian and Hot Italian Sausages.
We used the Mild Italian to make our Sausage and Peppers dish. You can cook the sausages in the oven, the grill, or on the stovetop. I used the stovetop to cook the sausages. Once they were cooked through I sliced them and returned them to the pan to sear each side.
I’m not a fan of spicy hot food so Hubby was in charge of trying the Hot Italian sausages. He grilled them and had great results.
To give your breakfast an extra kick add the Breakfast Sausages. I baked ours to get a nice color.
These sausages are not pre-cooked so you need to make sure you cook them all the way through to the recommended 165 degrees fahrenheit.
First Fresh is different because of the quality of the ingredients used. They do not use by-products or random meat parts to make the sausages.
The Ingredients label reads:
Chicken Breast Fillet, Chicken skin, (contains 2% or less of: water, salt, spices, natural flavors, dextrose, vinegar, lemon juice concentrate). Packed into a collagen casing.
