Another slow cooker recipe for the win! This awesome pork loin is full of flavor and has some amazing texture. It is great right of out the slow cooker or reheated the next day in quesadillas, nachos or sandwiches.
We have enjoyed this recipe a number of times over the past weeks as I’ve been tweaking the ingredients. Below is my favorite way to make it so far, but feel free to make adjustments and make the recipe your own!
Ingredients
- 3 lb Pork Loin
- 1 tbsp GF all purpose slice blend
- 3/4 cup of water
- 1/2 cup mustard
- 2 tbsp honey
- 1 tbsp apple or white vinegar
- 1 tbsp brown sugar
Instructions
- Rub the spice blend all over the pork loin. Place the pork loin in the slow cooker.
- Pour the water in the slow cooker around the pork loin.
- In a bowl combine all the other ingredients and stir together. Pour over the seasoned pork loin. Cook on low for 8 hours.
- For best results cook pork loins low and slow!
This dish makes your house smell awesome! So when you walk in the door at 5pm with the kids in tow, you remember that the 10 minutes that you spent this morning were all worth it!
I have also tossed in some carrots and onions for a super easy veggie side dish. We have enjoyed this pork loin with rice, pasta, green beans, mashed potatoes, carrots and mac n cheese. The options are limitless.
Enjoy!
