I love breakfast foods! I can eat them for any meal. We had a long and busy Easter weekend with family but Saturday morning I did get to make breakfast. I decided to go with French Toast! I used Gluten Free and regular bread but I made the batter Gluten Free.
What You Need:
– 10 Slices of Bread – I used Rudi’s
– 1 cup milk
– 3 eggs
– 1/2 tsp cinnamon
– 1 tbsp sugar
– 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
– 1/4 cup Gluten Free Bisquick – you could use any GF flour mix
How to Make It:
Heat skillet or griddle. In bowl mix GF flour mix, milk, eggs, cinnamon, sugar and vanilla extract until smooth. Soak each piece of bread in the mixture and then cook until brown on both sides. Serve with syrup or powdered sugar!
If cooking GF and regular bread, to avoid cross contamination prepare the GF bread first.
